Paint Party Friday

Progress on that canvas I recently posted...here's a reminder....



I'd dripped, poured, patterned...all the good stuff!

Evolved into this.....

Another Tree emerged......





Adorned with handmade paper "lanterns"...if you look closely, you can see a bit of the Chinese newspaper that was incorporated a few layers ago....





It's a large canvas...I wanted to take advantage of the natural sunlight for a photo op, so outside we went.

Possibly complete?

    Your layers are amazing. Interesting how the tree emerged. The colors are rich and strong, like the tree but are the background. Neat!

    this is really special... I like the red and the shape of the tree as it emerged... it looks quite wonderful as it is but I am excited to see its next stage if you have ideas for more!!!

    I love it!! It's so pretty! I'd love to see that hanging in a children's hospital or something...really big! I love the lanterns and all the lovely colors and details. Beautiful!! Happy PPF!
