On My Easel

Progressing along on this piece...

I always think it's interesting to review your art through the camera lens.

Another perception....
Different focal points sometimes emerge...

What do you see?

  1. I like looking at my art after I've photographed it. just when I think I'm finished the camera says something else. When I look at this the first thing my brain tried to do was read it. It has the vibe of a hidden alphabet. But thats just my brain. I love this piece and can't wait to see where you take it.

  2. hi Joji! I can look at this see why "reading" surfaced in your mind. I think it's the lines. Really interesting looking at it from your view. I was inspired by wind chimes a good friend gifted me from one of her trips when I started to creating this piece. Do you see them swaying in the breeze?

  3. My first thought was that it was very interesting and it held my attention although I didn't know what is was. Now I see the wind chimes. Very good abstraction.

  8. Theresa I do see the chimes now. That is what is so great about art. It reveals itself differently to each person.

  14. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful vibrant colors. I loved how they all looked so summer like together. I saw movement and shapes lines. To be truthful I kept going back and looking again and again because I was enjoying the color so much.

It always amazes me what I see when I take a picture of my painting and look at it on the computer. Sometimes I am pleased, other times not so much.
