What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday? Week 72
Better Late than Never for Julia's WOYWW found HERE
A couple of little "sweets" pieces I'm working on...
Thinking I loaded larger versions on these you should be able to see if you click on the pic.
Cupcakes are on my mind and planning to work on a few more for this little series...

Horrorscope! Numbers and Terror Cards!
From my GooGle Page:
Daily horoscope for Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
powered by Tarot.com
By Rick Levine Share You might want to take the day off because you're thinking about all the things you want to do that have nothing to do with work. Although you are able to imagine a perfect day, one thing or another prevents you from actually having it. Instead of worrying about what you are unable to do, be grateful for what you can accomplish. Making the most of what you have is all about changing your attitude. |
Number of the day
9: Today is about letting go, and there may be a restructuring or release of a friendship. Your priorities are changing, and today is about forgiveness, tolerance, and exercising compassion. |
Weekly love horoscope for Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
For the week of Oct 18, 2010 By Jeff Jawer Share Communicative Mercury's entry into your 5th House of Romance makes this an excellent week to send messages of love. You don't have to dress boldly and make flamboyant gestures when a small smile and a look held an instant longer than necessary makes the point. These subtle ways of expressing interest makes you more desirable now. |
Your personal Tarot card for the day
Judgment: A gathering of lost fragments allows you to connect to your Higher Self. Deck: Medieval Cat

What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday? Week 71
The new window is in and now there is some order in the chaos! Working on a journal page here and reviewing Sharon Tomlinson's FACES course you can find on her blog HERE. She's wonderful and I love her southern accent.
A couple of other angles here. Obviously I like to be surrounded by all my "stuff"! I just find it inspiring seeing all my pens, pencils, brushes, scraps of paper, etc...
I will never be a minimalist girl or live in a home with white walls everywhere. I need color!
Wish these pics were not so dark! ACK!
Hope you enjoyed the visit and will check out other workdesks Julia is featuring HERE for "WOYWW 71". Lots of artsy, crafty peeps sign up every week and are great about returning your visit.

What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday? Week 70
Hard to believe this was spic n span yesterday morning!
Getting a new window installed today = moving lots of stuff to the other side of the studio, on top of my workdesk, filing cabinet, etc. In the midst of mounting some stamps on foam core to boot.
And why am I sharing this shameful disarray? Well, to join Julia at the Stamping Ground found HERE to share with other artsy crafters in honor of WOYWW#70!
I promise it will be cleaned up later today Mom.

Steampunk Towers N Turrets
Still creating towers n turrets inspired by Sharon Tomlinson and Deryn Mentock's online class you can find here.
Just couldn't wait to put a steampunk twist to a piece. I haven't experimented with this style before, but have been excited to try it out.
Some great free graphics, like this one, can be found at The Graphics Fairy found here.
Loads of fun using little gears from Tim Holtz and little miniature washers and such found around the abode....
What do you think????
Would love to hear your feedback while I'm pondering over the next theme...
