The new window is in and now there is some order in the chaos! Working on a journal page here and reviewing Sharon Tomlinson's FACES course you can find on her blog HERE. She's wonderful and I love her southern accent.
A couple of other angles here. Obviously I like to be surrounded by all my "stuff"! I just find it inspiring seeing all my pens, pencils, brushes, scraps of paper, etc...
I will never be a minimalist girl or live in a home with white walls everywhere. I need color!
Wish these pics were not so dark! ACK!
Hope you enjoyed the visit and will check out other workdesks Julia is featuring HERE for "WOYWW 71". Lots of artsy, crafty peeps sign up every week and are great about returning your visit.

Love the journal pages and you're right about colour, hate white walls too. I was in such a hurry to move in to my little craft room that I didn't stop to paint the room and now I regret that! Might have to rectify it soon!

Your desk looks like a good place to have some art fun.
ReplyDeleteSharon is one of my favorite bloggers. I had the good fortune of meeting here year before last when she was in the Bay Area.
Yesterday I got to meet another blogger. What a delight!

It's colour and stuff for me too Theresa - although I look at white walls and tidy surroundings and often aspire...but I truly cannot. I'm missing the chromosome! Glad aboutthe new window. WOuld very much like to come round and properly rummage through the pots and pieces!
ReplyDeleteHello Theresa, Looks like your getting a lot of journaling done! I have to say you have quite a few wonderful pages in your previous posts! Have a great weekend ahead! ~Theresa
ReplyDeleteAhhh--a girl after my own heart :)
ReplyDeletewhat a great desk space, and I love what looks like a small white cake stand being used to store inks (I think), also love seeing your journal pages

I'm jealous of your work space. My work space, in the teensy weensy apartment where we live until our house is ready, is filled with files and papers and the computer and printer, and (until tomorrow) the taxes. To "create", I either shove the keyboard out of the way, or stand in front of a tiny slice of counter top in the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteLove your journal page - thanks for sharing your busy workdesk. #142
ReplyDeleteGot to have some colour in your life to inspire! Pam (20)

I was here earlier in the week, and for the life of me, could NOT leave a comment. Kept getting that 503 blogger error. Came back to tell you I was glad to read your window is in. Nope, I can tell you will never be a minimalist! But that's ok when it comes to crafting. Love that face, too. Happy belated WOYWW from #2.
ReplyDeleteI love your workspace! It is nice to have a place to be creative! I am visiting via Pink Saturday,
ReplyDeleteKathy
