Building Backgrounds

I'm planning to keep adding layers and textures...
colors, oil pastels, charcoal...?
A great way to use up all those little scraps that accumulate...
or junk mail with interesting designs and images that you can't make yourself toss...
I may just copy and use for pieces in future art...
or Not?

  1. Good idea, I love layering, too, always have *hidden* things in my work, and it's good to use everything you can find! Valerie

  18. I'm a background junkie, but I have never made a background this rich and exotic. I could study it all day and still see more things I missed. This is truly lovely and so time consuming, I'm sure.
