Color Journal Cover

Working away on my "Color Journal" bookcovers for pages I created here ...

Just start with two canvas boards according to the size you wish your journal pages to be...
We used 8" x 10"

"Colorize" with your favorite palette....

We shared lots of Mary Beth Shaw's stencils in her class....

Keep Playing and Layering....

Go for a walk and think about your next layer(s)....

  6. Ohhh... what a ton of work! I love how you play with colors! I cannot manage to use so many at the same time... I usually use two or three colors on a piece. Definitely need to add more!

  8. Gorgeous, GORGEOUS work as always- and I'm very curious as to the next step of your book? Do you use a Dremel to make holes for binding it all together? Or do you use a completely different method? I've been wanting to make some garden journals and recipe files- this might be a step in the right direction.....
