A Glimpse

It's one of those days where I must calm my mind and tend to domestic responsibilities.  I can live in chaos to a point…then…the twitchiness sets in.  I will catch up on the news, listen to music as I scrub and dust  and organize the "twitchies" away…then I will begin messing things up again as I continue to work on several series…here's a glimpse of one:

Sometimes Gesso Is Your Best Friend

 

Do you know that feeling when you're working...and working...and working....and you just can't get the canvas to feel right....?

Never fear...

there are so many remedies to save a canvas....

Maybe you're the type of person who can store it for awhile before you decide...

Or perhaps just block out pieces at a time...

I guess I'm impatient...

And impulsive...

So I just cover all in a layer of gesso...

And start all over...

Excited about the transparent background...

That will be another layer...
