Pink Saturday

This is Polly.  She Loves Pink!

She wanted to join all the Pink Ladies for Beverly's Pink Saturday party.   

Polly's been busy in the garden this morning and found the perfect pinkish rose for her hair.  It inspired her pink lips and that tiny pink star.  Polly's lucky because her cheeks are just naturally pink...and her hair is just naturally...blonde....ahem...

Today is Pink Saturday!










And it's also my Birthday

I really wanted to post pictures of...

the yummiest lemon, raspberry filling, pink raspberry mousse icing-ed cake that my friend made for me yesterday....










But, instead, I'm posting some beautiful pink florals....

most of which are from my mother's garden....

She sends me the BEST photos....!








But "Where is the Cake????"  you may ask....  Did it resemble this one???

Well no...not exactly....that one's for John...I guess he likes pink....
"Did it look more like this one then?"....you may still be wondering...

Hmmm...I've never seen a cake like that one....Is it really edible???....Nope, my cake looked even better than that one....
It was SO beautiful and made from the heart....

It was SO delicious, I couldn't stop eating it....

But now, I'm hungry again and I really wanted to share that cake with all the Pink Saturday Ladies!
Oh What the Heck....after all it IS my Birthday....

This is where I have my first treat of the day to keep Mom company by her desk....

 

 

 

 

Just wanted to show you a crooked picture of my bed ....more storage for Mom's stuff and one of her favorite art pieces courtesy of someone who was a toddler twenty somethin' years ago... I don't mind sharing the love ...sometimes!

 

 

 

Hmmm...something's different here....I can actually see a tabletop!

Guess what?  I see more desk space - sorta....

I better inspect this a bit closer....might be something edible up there hiding...

 

 

O Look!  I can see the pink rose topiary from here!  ACK!  Mom needs to water!!!
