I like looking at my art after I've photographed it. just when I think I'm finished the camera says something else. When I look at this the first thing my brain tried to do was read it. It has the vibe of a hidden alphabet. But thats just my brain. I love this piece and can't wait to see where you take it.
ReplyDeletehi Joji! I can look at this see why "reading" surfaced in your mind. I think it's the lines. Really interesting looking at it from your view. I was inspired by wind chimes a good friend gifted me from one of her trips when I started to creating this piece. Do you see them swaying in the breeze?
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was that it was very interesting and it held my attention although I didn't know what is was. Now I see the wind chimes. Very good abstraction.
ReplyDeleteOh I love this unique little variety. I see birds on a wire!! Funny how we all have a different perspectives...I see an owl, a peacock and a pelican for sure!!

ReplyDeleteTheresa I do see the chimes now. That is what is so great about art. It reveals itself differently to each person.
ReplyDeleteI agree Joji! Everyone's vision is unique! Happy Friday to you:)
DeleteLovely piece - I agree about taking photos of work, I've often changed something when I've seen it as a camera does :)

ReplyDeleteHi Theresa. Wonderful piece. Great work and I do see lots of movements as in chimes of sorts. I like it! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love this painting! It has great colors. I always either scan my work or take a photo of it before I complete it. I always see something I want to change. You see it differantly.
ReplyDeleteThe first thing I noticed was the beautiful vibrant colors. I loved how they all looked so summer like together. I saw movement and shapes lines. To be truthful I kept going back and looking again and again because I was enjoying the color so much.
ReplyDeleteIt always amazes me what I see when I take a picture of my painting and look at it on the computer. Sometimes I am pleased, other times not so much.
I love looking at my work through a photo as well... it gives me fresh eyes and helps me see weak spots... mind you these are fabulous and look pretty darn strong to me... fabulous...xx
